I think I messed up my shoulder while pretending to Hula Hoop today.
More on that in a few days.

There is no reason to Hula Hoop, except for the Wii Fit version I saw. Please be safe.
April 10th, 2008 at 10:35 pm

April 10th, 2008 at 10:54 pm

April 11th, 2008 at 12:54 am
Hot cocoa and a mother’s love always worked for me when I was a kid. Good luck.
April 11th, 2008 at 1:07 am
I have no idea what or why you’d do that. But anyways…take it easy for a few days dude!
April 11th, 2008 at 1:27 am
I predict a week OFF! and yeah it sucks
April 11th, 2008 at 5:30 am
This means you can sue the imaginary hula hoop company
April 11th, 2008 at 5:35 am
I know exactly what you were up to, I bet you were trying out that new wii-mote style controller for the 360 and had to make hula hoop motions to reload in the new motion sensitive Gears of War remake. Since Microsoft understand that there fanbase is mostly hardcore gamers they implemented hardcore monition sensitivity, the result of which is you have to stand behind your couch or a table and smash in to it to make you dude take cover. After two chapters of Gears you end up in the ER with a dislocated shoulder.
Look out for the army of two remake that uses the built in microphone, you have to scream “bro” and “dude” repeatedly at the controller to make you AI do stuff.

Don´t hate the hoop!

Good luck with that.
April 11th, 2008 at 8:21 am
Are you serious? Ugh the unpleasant life of a Video Game reviewer.
April 11th, 2008 at 8:43 am
That’ll teach you, eh? Haha. Hope you feel better soon!
April 11th, 2008 at 8:51 am
Might be the rotator cuff. Rest, ice, some advil and post a new Points! episode and you’ll be right as rain.
April 11th, 2008 at 10:08 am
Hula Hooping is dangerous.
April 11th, 2008 at 11:00 am
That sucks. Too bad there’s no video or anything though. Exploiting other peoples’ pain is always funny. Anyway, take it easy man. Feel better soon and all that.
April 11th, 2008 at 11:02 am
ooooh… very nice =/
my friend did that before, it’ll be alright in a few weeks as long as you get it looked at soon enough
April 11th, 2008 at 11:21 am
I find it funny how people come up with a paragraph in length response to this post….
April 11th, 2008 at 11:23 am
I always knew hula hooping was dangerous but now even pretending to hula hoop is hazardous. What has this world come to?
April 11th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
Heh heh, dumbass. LOL!
I REALLY hope there’s a video of that, you have to put it up here
April 11th, 2008 at 12:58 pm
Good luck on getting that all fixed up Jeff. Pretending to hula hoop…I can just imagine the conversation with your doctor.
Doctor: “So when did it start hurting?”
Jeff: “Well, I was acting like a dumbass and pretending to hula hoop when…”
April 11th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
Maybe you shouldn’t pretend to Hula Hoop in future?
No… that makes far too much sense.
April 11th, 2008 at 2:51 pm
Did I read shoulder or hip? How can you injure your shoulder doing that?!
April 12th, 2008 at 11:51 am
Do they make E-Get well soon cards? hehehe.
April 12th, 2008 at 9:39 pm
Was this injury due to some new fangled thing called Wii Fit?
April 13th, 2008 at 7:36 pm
Try to roll your shoulders, and play some COD4. COD makes everyone feel right as rain.
April 14th, 2008 at 3:12 am
hehehehehehehehehehe
April 14th, 2008 at 5:18 pm
How do you mess up your shoulder while doing hula hoop?
April 15th, 2008 at 1:20 pm
Best injury ever.
April 17th, 2008 at 10:22 am
Hell Yeah! I dont think I am going to buy wiifit since its not my cup of tea exactly, but it will be funny watching people play!
