So Street Fighter IV is pretty cool. Definitely not finished yet, but it feels good.

That’s great news. I’ve got some serious doubts about that game.

Pretty cool like “Street Fighter The Movie The Game”, or pretty cool like “EX without all the things that made it poorly”

it looks really awesome! does it feel like our playing a 2D fighter, better yet does it feel anything like SF2?

Gametrailers has some owesome footage of SFIV, it’s looking great. Gameplay seems a little slower than I expected but it looks fantastic.

I’m definitely interested in SFIV! I like what I’ve seen of it so far.

We have plenty of time for Capcom to fix it up.

From watching all the pix and reading nearly every preview of the game. It really looks like “Street Fighter Ex” to me, but with better graphics and animation. Come to think of it, I bet 100 bucks that this game plays and feels like EX or EX Plus Alpha.

its looked pretty awesum from the start, and the way capcom is doin it seems like the only way to get the kind if success they want for from a game of that type(a fighting game)

Jeff what do you think of the new characters? Abel looks cool and actually seems to fit the Street FIghter vibe, not so sure about Crimson Viper though.

ok, lets get down to brass tacks people (where the hell did this saying come from? who “gets down” to brass tacks, and what is the significance of said tacks? i fear i may have completely derailed this post…yet i must continue forward, in a very frodo/samwise fashion…yep, the train is still plowing into the field of wheat, which hopefully was going to be used to brew beer, which is admirable).

obviously the most important question is if they mentioned it would have online. i can’t imagine releasing this without online, but then again the last 2 soul calibur’s came out without online, so anything is possible…

also…..any idea if vega is going to be abe to jump and cling to any cages? that shit was off the chains, son.

And how does that make you feel?

P.S. Since it’s the GDC, there should be some developers for Duke Nukem Forever there. Are they giving a talk about long development cycles?

“Those fans fearing a sloppy EX update can take a Xanax and calm down. The overall basic structure of Street Fighter IV feels like an attempt to carefully mix elements from the Third Strike and Super Turbo engines.”

    -1up

So, could anyone that says this game is going to be EX over again please kindly shut the fuck up?

Talk to me again when they’ve announced the return of Dan. Until then, I’ll have to practice my “Saikyo Style” elsewhere.

I have always loved Street Fighter, I just hope the experience of 4 is an actual enhancement and not just a new coat of paint, because for that I have SF2.
